Leach field / drain field problems

Residential Septic System DiagramAs a licensed contractor for many years I know what it is like to give a family the bad news that they have leach field problems. Our team has over 50 years of combined experience covering all the many aspects of septic systems. Some of the problems we have dealt with include; septic system designs, installation, maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting septic systems. We have worked on many different types of septic products which include: conventional septic systems, aerobic septic systems, advanced treatment units, aerobic bacteria generators, sand filters, mounds and more.

With all of the experience we possess, we have seen first hand what an impact it has on a family, related expenses and their daily lives. We wanted to do something to change the horrible effects this causes. We invented the Septic Genie specifically for homeowners with leach field problems, so they can solve the problem themselves and save a lot of money and heartache. Our system costs a fraction of what it costs to replace a drain field. To do a replacement you are looking at anywhere from $5 to $20 thousand dollars. This cost does not include what you will have to pay to fix your property after it has been torn up. This can be a lengthy construction project too, interrupting your daily life.

We ship the Genie right to your home. It consists of three components and the only thing you will need to provide is a piece of 1/2″ Schedule 40 PVC pipe. Inside your package will be the easy to follow, step by step, instructions that includes pictures. The installation will take just a few hours and you can do it yourself or with the help of a handyman. You do not need any heavy equipment or special tools. Once you have all the parts in place, our special bacteria will immediately begin correcting your leach field problem. They will enter the septic tank and get to work right away.

The special bacteria will add a new feature to your tank. They will begin to consume the solid waste that is there; human waste, oils, grease, toilet paper, anything organic. The bacteria live and reproduce in the Genie that is installed in your septic tank. They will travel with the liquid waste to the drain field. Here is where they will begin to eat and digest the biomat. The biomat is created by bacteria from our intestines that are found in conventional septic systems. It is a thick slime they secrete in the soil around your drain field causing it to become clogged. Once the biomat is reduced, the normal function will start to return. How long will it take to return to normal? Well, this will depend on how long the problem has been present and how much biomat is present. Some customers see improvement in two weeks while for others it takes a little longer.
