This bacteria will continue to live and reproduce in the Genie that is installed in your septic tank, so you will not have problems in the future.

How does the Genie work to correct your drain field problem? Let's take a quick look at how it works.

1. You will install the Genie into your septic tank; this will only take a few hours to do.
2. Once installed our bacteria blend will enter the septic tank and start to work. Here they will consume 90% of the solid waste in the tank. This will be a great benefit to your existing system because there is very little digestion in conventional septic tanks.
3. Then some of the bacteria will travel to the drain field and soil where they will begin to eat and digest the biomat. By doing this, they are allowing more and more liquid to be absorbed by the soil, returning your system to normal operation.

You will see improvement in the tank within 12 hours. How long will it take for your drain field problems to return to normal function? This will depend on how long your system has been having problems and how much build up is there. Every situation is a little different. Some of our customers have seen improvement in as little as two weeks after the installation, while other improvements took a little longer.
